Experienced IT Field Sales Executive
Salary/rate £20000 - £45000/annum OTE Basic Salary+ Comm+Car+Benef
Location Horley, South East
Role Description
This is a varied and exciting Field Sales role split between uncovering exciting new business opportunities and visiting existing accounts to maximise all possible revenue streams. You will benefit from working within a well supported sales and technical pre-sales team, with the aim of nurturing, growing and maintaining face-to-face client relationships to help build a solid business partnership.

Ideally you will have a proven and demonstrable Field Sales background within the IT Solution and Services sector, and be well versed in the Storage, Security and General Hardware arenas. We would also be happy to view CV's from experienced and enthusiatic candidates with a more general sales backround who are used to achieving and exceeding set monthly & quartely targets. In return the successful candidate will join a leading and reputable company, where their efforts will be recognised and rewarded within an uncapped commission structure. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for managing their daily diary and booking customer meetings with both new and long standing clients, in order to maximise all possible sales and lead opportunities. The role will be backed up by internal Technical Pre-Sales, Account Managers and Consultants all with a wealth of experience in Data Storage, Security, Service and the Fulfilment arenas. The role reports directly back to the Sales & Operations Director.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a Field Sales Executive role preferably from within the IT Sales &
Services sector.
• Have a hands-on approach with a high activity level that is motivated and driven by working
direct with the sales team members to improve daily revenue performance.
• Keep and an up to date and busy diary of validated client appointments with total transparency
for the Management.
• Obtain and maintain vendor sales accreditations as required.
• Live within the Home Counties and be prepared to visit the Horley based offices on a
weekly/bi-weekly basis.
• Be highly driven and self motivated.

Experienced Sales Consultant / Data Storage, DR and Virtualisation
Salary/rate £30000 - £60000/annum OTE Basic Salary+Commission+Benefits

Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Sales Account Manager whose role will be to sell a select range of Data Storage, Back-Up, Disaster Recovery & Virtualisation Solutions, as well as Professional & Technical Support Services into new and existing SMB & Enterprise clients within a broad range of public and private sectors. A high level of current knowledge and proven experience in medium to large, complex end user sales are key requirements for the successful candidate. Applicants should be enthusiastic,self motivated and have a demonstrable & successful track record within the Data Storage, Disaster Recovery & Virtualisation Solution arenas and also posses effective consultative solution selling skills with strong written, interpersonal, oral and presentation abilities. The position demands the ability to identify and qualify new sales opportunities at all levels from executive management level downwards throughout the decision making chain. Also the ability to penetrate new divisions and organisations within existing accounts, using professional customer relationship management techniques to develop and maintain new business relationships,
offer business proposals to prospective customers, create account management plans, and provide status and future pipe-line reports to your Sales Manager on a weekly basis.
Summary of Key Requirements:
• Proven and demonstrable track record in successful consultative solution selling of NetApp,
EMC, Lefthand, HP & Dell Data Storage Solutions and the complimentary software products
such as Veritas, Oracle, Exchange, SQL,Clearcase as well as VMware, Hyper-V and Citrix
Xen Virtualisation Solutions
• A working knowledge and understanding of storage protocols employed in these environmentssuch as NFS, CIFS, FCP & iSCSI etc.
• The applicant must be able to identify, prospect and qualify new sales opportunities.
• Build and strengthen business relationship with prospective and existing customers.
• Schedule and attend sales call appointments with prospective customers and be able to
clearly identify the prospect's key business issues.
• Prepare with effective formal written sales proposals or presentations and deliver these professionally to prospective customers.
• Employ an effective proposal closing strategy.
• Maintain and develop on-going account management for future "add on" sales opportunities.
• A minimum of 3 years experience selling into larger SMB & Enterprise organisations.
• To have completed the respective vendor training programmes and be certificated
to the required level.
• Work closely with the marketing team to discuss and suggest Storage and Virtualisation
campaigns both directly and through joint vendor collaboration.
The role is office based from our location in Horley although frequent travel to and from
client meetings throughout the UK is required to facilitate the sales process.
